Dr Marina Pinheiro is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Musculoskeletal Health and a Sydney Health Partners Implementation and Health Economics Fellow. She holds a NHMRC Early Career Fellowship and conducts research at the intersection of economic evaluation, implementation science, and physical activity, with a focus on informing policy and practice in ageing, rehabilitation, and prevention of falls. Marina leads the economic evaluation components of several large-scale implementation trials, including projects funded by the NHMRC and MRFF. Her work contributes to international evidence translation through roles with organisations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), Cochrane Rehabilitation, and the Lancet Commission on Neurorehabilitation.
