Research projects & supervision summary

Dr Marina Pinheiro leads and contributes to several nationally funded implementation trials, with a focus on economic evaluation of physical activity and rehabilitation interventions for older adults. She is a Chief Investigator on projects funded by the NHMRC and MRFF, and works in close partnership with clinicians, policymakers, and health services.

 

She currently supervises PhD and Honours students and has supervised multiple Honours and HDR students to completion. Her supervision approach emphasises interdisciplinary training, real-world impact, and research translation.
