LEARNING & TEACHING SUMMARy
Dr Pinheiro currently contributes to postgraduate public health and health policy education, with a focus on health economics and health technology assessment. She coordinates and teaches into multiple postgraduate units (e.g., HPOL5014, FMHU5001), and supervises Honours and PhD students. Although currently on a research fellowship, she maintains strategic teaching contributions across the School of Public Health.
Previously, Dr Pinheiro coordinated and taught extensively across the undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy curriculum, particularly within the musculoskeletal stream. Her teaching has been recognised with a Dean’s Citation Award for Learning and Teaching and consistently strong student feedback.
She is committed to inclusive teaching, mentoring early-career educators, and integrating real-world application into health economics education.
