Teaching

I love making geoscience exciting and accessible by combining fieldwork, hands-on projects, and digital tools. My classes are built around inquiry and discovery, so students don't just learn facts - they learn how to explore real-world problems, work with data, and think critically. I aim to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where everyone feels encouraged to get involved and grow their skills.

Supervision

I have supervised many Honours, Masters, and PhD students, and I really enjoy helping them shape their research and build confidence as independent scientists. Many of my students have gone on to win awards or present their work at conferences, and I see supervision as a partnership where we learn together.

I'm always keen to hear from motivated students who would like to work with me on projects about Earth's surface processes, climate, and biodiversity.
