ProfessorJohn Shields

He currently serves as the School’s Associate Dean Programs and has previously served as  Associate Dean Postgraduate (2009-14), Deputy Dean Education (2014-16), Deputy Dean and Associate Dean Education, Deputy Dean (2017-19), Chair of the Faculty Board (2017-19) and Academic Director International (2019-23). John has represented the Business School on numerous university-level boards and committees and on external bodies, including the Australian Business Deans’ Council Learning and Teaching and International Networks, governing bodies of the CEMS Global Alliance in Management Education, and the Technical Advisory Group for the NSW HSC Business Studies syllabus.
