RESEARCH INTERESTs
Ben's research interests focus primarily on tuberculosis (including epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, drug resistance, strain evolution, transmission, service delivery, public health control and social science aspects). From a clinical perspective he focus on paediatric infectious diseases. Sydney ID has a broad infectious diseases remit and operates within a One Planet One Health paradigm, encouraging a deeper ecological understanding of health, disease and resilience.
