Research projects & supervision summary

I am Co-Principal Investigator on two JWST General Observer programmes - GO-2565, on the abundance of quiescent galaxies at 3 < z < 4, and GO-11103, a multi-cycle target-of-opportunity programme building a cosmic-noon fast radio burst host sample - and a named investigator on 32 approved JWST programmes across Cycles 1-5. I am a core contributor to the MINERVA JWST Treasury Survey and the PHOENIX ALMA Large Programme, and lead the Early Universe Working Group of the JWST OutThere Survey. I have held Principal Investigator time on Keck, the Very Large Telescope and the Anglo-Australian Telescope.

I have supervised two doctoral students to completion: Monserrat Martinez (2025), now a postdoctoral researcher in Chile, and Aaron Myszka (2026). I currently supervise PhD candidates at Swinburne University of Technology and Macquarie University, and provide long-term remote mentoring for students and researchers in Asia and South America.
