Sue Randall is Professor (Primary Care) In the School of Public Health. Prof Randall is a highly experienced clinical and academic nurse with over 35 years' experience. She is the Co-clinical nursing lead for the Occasions of Care Explained and Analysed (OCEAN) study.

Past clinical experience in the UK includes orthopaedic nursing (trauma, elective and bone cancer), health visiting with a generic child and family and housebound elderly caseload which included working as an immuniser and setting up a service for pregnant women to support stopping smoking during pregnancy. Her academic career, which started at Coventry University in the UK and then the University of Sydney from 2014, has focused on people living with chronic conditions in a community and primary health care (PHC) setting. This also encompasses workforce development in community and PHC settings. Prof Randall's work has won awards, altered clinical practice and has changed policy related to venous leg ulcers in a local health district. Prof. Sue Randall's contribution in the field of public health and nursing is reflected with her engagement in health care strategies and advocacy in Primary Health Care and addressing the inequities confronted in regional and rural Australia. Her research has also contributed to many collaborations and publications in the field. She is an experienced academic and research degree supervisor.
