Service Evaluation
My team undertake collaborative evaluations of health and social services for Federal and State governments e.g. being the content lead for Federal Department of Health’s evaluation of the national Early Psychosis Youth Services (EPYS) Program.
Government and Industry Policy and Practice
Mental Health is currently the focus of major government and industry insurance and compensation bodies. I wrote and submitted the RANZCP submission to NSW Government on Workers' Compensation legislation, contributed to the new Australian Life Insurance Code of Practice and was a member of the Council of Australian Life Insurers Limited Expert Panel on the Assessment Framework for Mental Health.
I co-authored the chapter on workplace mental health in Hunter’s Diseases of Occupations (the world's foremost Occupational Health textbook, the World Psychiatric Association’s 2022 Position Statement on Mental Health in the Workplace, the RANZCP endorsed guidelines for the assessment and treatment of PTSD in emergency service workers.
