LEARNING & TEACHING SUMMARy

Associate Professor Mohammad Saadatfar teaches across civil engineering, materials, geomechanics, rock engineering, engineering computing and research project supervision.

His teaching brings together engineering fundamentals, material behaviour, computation and real world problem solving. He teaches Materials, Rock Engineering and Introduction to Engineering Computing, helping students connect theory with practical challenges in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, data analysis and design.

He also supervises thesis, capstone and dissertation projects, supporting students as they develop independent research skills and apply engineering thinking to problems in materials, imaging, modelling, digital engineering, geotechnical systems and biomedical applications.

Teaching units include:

CIVL1110/CIVL9110 - Materials

CIVL6454 - Rock Engineering

ENGG1810 - Introduction to Engineering Computing

CIVL4022 Thesis A, CIVL4023 Thesis B, CIVL5020 Capstone Project A, CIVL5021 Capstone Project B, CIVL5222 Dissertation A and CIVL5223 Dissertation B.
