ProfessorLeanne Hassett

Prof Hassett is an academic within the Discipline of Physiotherapy in the Sydney School of Health Sciences. Prof Hassett has predominantly taught within the neurology program in the Discipline of Physiotherapy since 2013.

Prof Hassett is co-lead of the Implementation Science Academy for Sydney Health Partners. In that role she leads the education offerings for the Academy. This includes our high-profile 2-day Masterclass (a capacity building endeavour that supports those with beginner-level competencies who have identified a research-practice gap to learn the methods of implementation science) and monthly webinar series.

Prof Hassett has supervised research students to timely completion: 5 PhD; 3 Masters; and 11 first-class honours (3 with university medals). Prof Hassett is currently primary supervisor for 3 PhD and 1 Masters students, and auxiliary supervisor for 2 PhD students.
