Kimberley received recognition in 2026 as a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA) demonstrating her commitment and contribution to student learning and sustained positive influence as a strategic leader in teaching. Kimberley Docking provides strategic leadership for speech pathology education across undergraduate and postgraduate programs at The University of Sydney. As Head of Discipline, she has responsibility for the design, quality, and accreditation of learning environments experienced by large student cohorts across coursework, simulation, clinic, and external placements. Her teaching and educational leadership focus on building coherent, standards‑aligned programs that prepare graduates for contemporary professional practice. 

Kimberley is committed to inclusive, supportive learning environments that enable student success across diverse pathways. Her teaching leadership is informed by educational scholarship, professional standards, and sustained engagement with educators and clinical partners. Through mentoring and collaboration, she supports teaching teams to deliver high‑quality education at scale and contributes to the ongoing development of speech pathology education nationally.
