Kimberley provides sustained academic leadership at discipline, faculty, university, and national levels. She is Head of Discipline, Speech Pathology, at The University of Sydney, with responsibility for curriculum oversight, accreditation, clinical education, academic workforce planning, governance, and student outcomes across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. She also leads the governance of large‑scale clinical education programs and partnerships that support workforce development and student placements at scale, including sector‑first models.

Beyond the Discipline, Kimberley contributes to institutional governance through university and faculty committees related to clinical governance, quality, and research ethics, and has served in senior leadership and advisory roles within health and research organisations. She also provides national professional service through invited leadership roles with peak bodies and conferences, contributing to standards development, workforce capability, and the translation of research into practice.
