RESEARCH INTERESTs

Juliana’s postdoctoral research focuses on developing physical activity interventions to prevent falls in older people. She currently coordinates a large NHMRC-funded trial evaluating the effect of yoga on falls in community-dwelling older people. Juliana also works in the Centre of Research Excellence in fall prevention, designing strategies to implement supported referral to community-based fall prevention exercises into health services.
