Ioana currently serves as auxiliary supervisor for three PhD candidates and two MA students working on projects focused broadly on human-environment interactions, coastal resilience and adaptation, landscape archaeology, fire use and mobility, and the environmental and social dimensions of ancient metallurgy and resource exploitation.
