Associate ProfessorGustavo Machado

Associate Professor Machado's achievements have been recognised with 30 awards, including the BMJ’s Most Accessed Paper Prize, Altmetric Top 100 Study, NSW Health Secretary’s Award, ANZMUSC Trial of the Year, Research Australia Health Services Award, HSRAANZ New Investigator Award, NPS Medicinewise eHealth Award, and Sax Institute Research Actions Award.

He serves in several leadership roles, including the University of Sydney Academic Board, Emergency Care Institute Research Advisory Committee, Sydney Virtual Research Steering Committee, and the ANZMUSC Scientific Advisory Group. He is a Fellow of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (FISQua), an elected Member of the Royal Society of New South Wales (MRSN), and an Associate Member of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences (AAHMS).
