Reviewing recently “GABA, the major inhibitory neurotransmitter” for Elsevier’s Research Manual I came to realise that acting as a neurotransmitter may not be the major role of GABA in the brain and elsewhere! Currently interested in food products enriched with GABA, such as GABA-enriched tea. Developing an interest in GABA and type 2 diabetes.
