RESEARCH INTERESTs

I study natural and synthetic chemicals that influence brain chemistry in relation to Alzheimer’s disease, anxiety, epilepsy, insomnia, memory disorders, myopia, schizophrenia and stress with particular emphasis of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA. My other interests include expert witnessing, science history and gender equity in pharmacology.
