Dr Fiona Robards is a Senior Lecturer and Senior Research Fellow with experience in policy analysis, health service management, and psychology. She coordinates three public health units in the Master of Sexual and Reproductive Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health and leads research in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) policy and prevention within Child and Adolescent Health. Fiona’s work focuses on public health advocacy to advance equity, health and wellbeing for marginalised young people. Her research has been published in leading adolescent and public health journals and has informed state, national, and international policy, including through the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA). She is an Associate Editor of the Health Promotion Journal of Australia and a Chief Investigator in the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in FASD. She holds senior international advocacy roles as Chair of the WFPHA Policy Committee and Co-chair of the WFPHA Women, Children and Youth Health Working group.
