    Project leaders:
    • Robards F
This SSP enabled me to develop my international collaborations via my leadership role with the WFPHA. Based in Geneva and working with the WFPHA, the focus was on undertaking research and capacity building to strengthen policy and advocacy for women, children and youth. During my four-month sabbatical, I expanded my international networks and initiated three new international research projects. A highlight was participating in the annual WFPHA General Assembly meeting in Geneva in May 2025 and WHO high-level meetings. At the World Health Assembly, I made a statement calling for increased action on adolescent health. I joined several networks and global public health committees. Overall, I achieved significant outputs in research, policy development, and advocacy through presentations, meetings and networking, student supervision, and other ongoing roles.
