RESEARCH INTERESTs
Dr Fiona Robards’ research focuses on improving health equity—particularly for young people and underserved communities—by informing policy and supporting access to healthcare. She is also passionate about mentoring emerging researchers and shaping public health policy through evidence-based advocacy.
Research areas
Fiona's research areas include adolescent health and development, public health, health promotion, prevention, equity, access to healthcare, mental health, sexual health, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), and policy and advocacy.
Research translation
Fiona has a strong track record in translating research initiatives into policy. Her research and grant activity span national collaborations, policy-focused initiatives and health system innovation, reflecting her commitment to research that drives real-world change.
