DrAndrzej Januszewski

Dr Januszewski provides leadership in biomarker research, clinical trial biobanking and laboratory operations at the Sydney Clinical Trials Centre. He leads the CTC Biomarkers Laboratory and contributes to the governance, quality control and scientific use of large clinical trial biospecimen collections.

His service roles have included membership of research, ethics, trial management, workplace health and safety, and laboratory governance committees. He has contributed to institutional research infrastructure through the development of laboratory workflows, biobank procedures, assay capability, data management processes and online research tools.

He has also served the broader research community through peer review for scientific journals, grant review activities, membership of professional societies, and contributions to collaborative national and international research programs in diabetes, cardiovascular disease and clinical trials.
