Appointed as an Education-Focused Academic within the School of Life and Environmental Sciences in 2025, Alice is the coordinator for the Agricultural Science undergraduate Professional Development program. This program is aimed at developing student's professional skills in a range of disciplines through work placement. Students participate in a variety of placements including on-farm, agriculture or animal-related businesses, and research.
She coordinates and teaches Global Challenges: Food, Water, Climate, a first year unit of study that provides students a broad overview of the environmental challenges of the 21st century, both globally and within Australia as well as Applied Livestock Systems, a fourth year unit of study that provides a whole-system approach across the supply chain, integrating animals, pastures, environment, management and economics to understand key system challenges and develop appropriate solutions. Alice contributes to additional units across both the Agricultural Science and Animal and Veterinary Bioscience degrees.
