DrTihana Divnic-Resnik

Dr Divnić-Resnik holds multiple senior leadership and service roles within the University of Sydney and the broader profession. She serves as Deputy Head of the Discipline of Periodontics and Chair of the Academic Panel for Special Considerations, Credits, and Mobility, contributing to university-wide governance, academic standards, equity, and progression. She is an Executive Committee Member of the Australian Society of Periodontology (ASP) and a Member of the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Human Research Ethics Committee (RPA HREC), supporting ethical oversight across health research.

Beyond institutional service, she actively supports international clinicians and academics through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs, with a strong focus on preventive dentistry and capacity building, particularly in developing regions such as Thailand and the Philippines. She maintains strong partnerships with leading industry partners, including Curaden (Switzerland), leveraging these relationships to support academic professional development, enhance teaching through material support, and facilitate research grants and educational initiatives.

Her contribution to the profession has been formally recognised, including the award of an International College of Dentists (ICD) Fellowship and the 100 Best Doctors Award, acknowledging her leadership, service, and impact in dental education and prevention.
