SERVICE & LEADERSHIP SUMMARy
Dr Jayasinghe contributes to the oral health research community through editorial, examiner and governance roles. She is an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Oral Health, and a College Examiner in the Primary Dental Sciences program of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS). She has examined PhD confirmation assessments at Edith Cowan University and served as a judge for Honours and Higher Degree by Research presentations within the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney.
In research leadership, she co-led the Oral and Ecosystems Health Node at the Charles Perkins Centre and represented early- and mid-career researchers on the Centre's Level 4 Research Advisory Group. She currently coordinates the Sydney Health Partners Oral Health Clinical Academic Group as Project Officer, managing its operations, governance and reporting across the University of Sydney and NSW Health partnership, and supporting the Co-Chairs on strategy and stakeholder engagement. A defining thread across her work is building research capacity among oral health clinicians and mentoring early-career researchers.
She holds professional memberships with the International Association for Dental Research, the Sydney Health Partners Implementation Science Community Academy, and the Nutrition Society of Sri Lanka.
