RESEARCH INTERESTs
Adolescent health and non-communicable disease prevention: Understanding the behavioural, social, and environmental determinants of health during adolescence, with a focus on early prevention of chronic disease.
Youth engagement and co-designed research: Advancing participatory methods that position young people as collaborators in research, policy, and implementation, including the development of scalable models for youth engagement across research systems.
Digital and commercial determinants of health: Examining how digital platforms, algorithmic systems, and commercial actors shape health behaviours and outcomes, and identifying opportunities for intervention, regulation, and system redesign.
Food environments and systems: Investigating how physical and digital food environments influence dietary behaviours, and how these systems can be redesigned to support equitable and sustainable access to healthy options.
Implementation science and scale-up of prevention strategies: Designing and evaluating strategies to support the integration, adoption, and sustainability of evidence-based interventions in real-world settings, particularly within health and community systems.
