BIO

Associate Professor Stephanie Partridge is a public health nutrition researcher in the Sydney School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health and the Charles Perkins Centre at the University of Sydney. She is a Sydney Horizon Fellow and a National Heart Foundation Future Leader Fellow, leading an interdisciplinary research team (Youth Well Lab) focused on improving adolescent health through innovative, scalable prevention approaches.

Her research sits at the intersection of youth engagement, non-communicable disease (NCD) prevention, and digital and environmental determinants of health. She is particularly focused on how contemporary systems, including digital environments and evolving food systems, shape adolescent health, and how these can be redesigned to support healthier, more equitable futures.

A/Prof Partridge is recognised for advancing participatory and co-designed approaches in public health research. She leads a program of work that integrates young people as collaborators across the research lifecycle, alongside the development of scalable models to strengthen youth engagement and research translation.

Her current research focuses on the implementation and scale-up of adolescent prevention strategies, including digital interventions and system-level approaches to improving health and well-being. This work is supported by major competitive funding, including fellowships from the National Health and Medical Research Council and the National Heart Foundation of Australia, as well as her Sydney Horizon Fellowship (2024–2028).

In 2023, she was awarded the Eureka Prize for Emerging Leader in Science in recognition of her contributions to adolescent health and prevention research.
