RESEARCH INTERESTs

Sandris is an interdisciplinary researcher with expertise in co-design, Generative AI and the affective dimensions of learning and work. He investigates the dynamics of how collaborative practices contribute to collective learning and social impact. His recent research explores how generative AI acts as a design partner in knowledge process and examines how this shift reconfigures learning and work environments.

 

Sandris has published widely in leading international journals, including Academy of Management Learning & Education, Computers and Education: Artificial Intelligence, Project Management Journal, Higher Education Research & Development and Assessment & Evaluation in Higher Education.

Since 2020, Sandris has been an active member of the Disruptive Innovations in Business Education Research Group, where he has delivered research seminars, contributed to publications and collaborated with colleagues on securing four research grants, including a commissioned grant awarded by the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC). In 2025-2026, he has served as the Interim Director of the group to further advance this agenda.
