Dr. Garrido's research interests span youth mental health, dementia, depression, social prescribing, music cognition, and culturally responsive assessment. She is committed to building knowledge about how engagement with media such as social media and music influences mental health and well-being, and is passionate about using genuine co-design processes to integrate arts-based and psychosocial strategies into health care.
