LEARNING & TEACHING SUMMARy
Sally has supervised and lectured undergraduate and graduate students at The University of Sydney in conjunction with her clinical work since completing her PhD in 2016. Sally has supervised three PhD and two MSc students. Sally is a strong advocate for upskilling clinicians in research and has mentored numerous NSLHD Allied Health clinicians to design, undertake and disseminate health service research. In terms of teaching, Sally is actively involved in teaching staff across the NSLHD and teaches university students on clinical placement in the field of cardiopulmonary physiotherapy. Sally has previously held lecturer positions within the Sydney School of Health Sciences, FMH, and has taught into the Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy Unit in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Graduate Entry Masters (GEM) programs with her most recent appointment being in 2021.
