He is a member of the International Thyroid Oncology Group (which facilitates clinical trials in thyroid cancer), the A5 alliance (facilitating adrenal research in North and South America, Australia and Asia), and on the medical advisory board for the Pheo-Para Alliance (supporting patients with phaeochromocytomas and paragangliomas.)
