LEARNING & TEACHING SUMMARy
Professor Gallagher's teaching career includes cardiovascular and chronic disease subjects as well as evidence-based practice and research methods. She has supervised PhD (17), Masters by Research (8), MD (2) and Honours (12) students to completion with evidence of high quality supervision in receiving USYD Vice Chancellors Award for HDR supervision 2023. Her students win full-time scholarships and have won University Medals, international (Sigma nursing) national (CSANZ and ACRA) research awards and published extensively. Her BN Hons studently consistently recieve First Class awards (8/10) and university medals (3).She currently supervises Phd students (3), Honours students (2) and cosupervises PhD (1) and is a very experienced examiner.
