DrPraveena Chandra

Praveena Chandra brings a unique multi-disciplinary blend of corporate and academic experience. Her corporate experience combines roles that required her to conduct characterisation of advanced materials, technology transfer, technology evaluation, patent landscaping and techno-market mapping. She was instrumental in the creation of IndiaNano (Maharashtra, India), the technology platform focussed on bringing together academia and the corporate world in nanotechnology. Her academic work continued her corporate experience with an aim to better understand scientific innovations. Her core research interest is around innovations and address questions on how innovations take place, their assessment, and their predictability. She also has a keen interest in the scholarship of teaching and learning, especially around multi-disciplinary cohorts. Praveena received her MS in chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and her PhD from University of Sydney. She is a fellow of Higher Education Academy.
