LEARNING & TEACHING SUMMARy
Paolo coordinates and teaches across core and elective undergraduate technology units, where students develop familiarity with architectural technologies, structural systems, and construction methods integrated into architectural design. At master’s level, he coordinates Architectural Construction, which invites students to critically investigate the complex socio-technical dimensions of architectural material production—tracing how design intent is translated into built form across industrial, organisational, political, and social domains. He also teaches in postgraduate architectural design studios that integrate architectural design with structural expression and construction thinking. In this context, he has collaborated with industry partners including Populous and Arup. He also teaches in the Thesis Studio, the final design studio within the Master of Architecture.
