RESEARCH INTERESTs
Paolo is open to supervising and collaborating on research projects in the following areas:
- Modern and contemporary construction history and theory
- Interfaces between architectural practice and construction delivery
- Design-to-delivery workflows, including design intent, procurement, documentation, and construction practices
- Digital heritage, including VR- and AI-enabled reconstruction of historical practices and interpretation of archival sources for conservation and research translation
- Sustainable construction, including case-study investigations to assess and benchmark current practices
