LEARNING & TEACHING SUMMARy
My teaching spans undergraduate, postgraduate, and honours levels, with a consistent focus on the intersection of work, governance, and global challenges. I have developed, coordinated and taught a suite of subjects centred on modern slavery, human trafficking, and business ethics - where students engage with the legal, institutional, and organisational dimensions of business and human rights. Alongside this, I contributed to core disciplinary teaching in human resource management, industrial relations, and the future of work, integrating applied learning through simulations, policy analysis, and international comparisons. More recently, at honours level, I convened BUSS4812 Work and Organisational Studies Honours supporting students in the design and execution of independent research projects. In Climate Change and Work, I focus on the evolving relationship between labour and environmental change, encouraging students to grapple with the social consequences of decarbonisation. Across all subjects, I emphasise the integration of research-led insights with practical relevance, fostering critical engagement with contemporary workplace and societal issues.
