SERVICE & LEADERSHIP SUMMARy
My main service role in the University is the Directorship of the Power Institute, which for over 50 years has funded, curated and diffused knowledge and ideas in the Visual Arts in and beyond the University of Sydney. The Power Institute was the creation of the will of John Power, the artist and polymath, and its founding was also the origin of the discipline of Art History at the University. With a small staff, the Power Institute runs over 30 programmes a year, organizes fellowships at the Cité des Arts in Paris, co-funds and runs the Schaeffer Fine Arts Library in the Mills Building and publishes both print books and digital projects in Art History. More information about our programmes, projects and publications is available at our website
