Research projects & supervision summary
Professor Nikpour has supervised 12 Research Higher Degrees to completion and is presently supervising furher 12 RHD as primary or co-supervisor. These RHDs have been awarded numrous prizes including the TJ Martin Medal twice awarded to the top PhD thesis in the Eastern Hill Campus of the University of Melbourne Faculty of Medicine, the Victorian Premier's Research Prize and the EULAR Congress abstract prize. Almost all of these RHD candidates are clinician-researchers, many of whom hav contineud a career in research and received further accolades including NHMRC Emerging Leadership Investigator Grants and ARA Early Career Research Excelelnce Awards.
