DrMaja Moensted

A qualitative researcher and sociologist, Dr Maja Lindegaard Moensted has more than a decade of research experience focusing on the meeting between disadvantaged people and welfare institutions such as youth programs, health services and drug and alcohol services. Her research focuses on health equity and social participation; youth disadvantage; loneliness and social connectedness for those living with chronic illness; illicit substance use; and integrated social and health service delivery to highly vulnerable people.
