RESEARCH INTERESTs

  • Youth inequality, citizenship, and social participation; using participatory methods to investigate contemporary youth issues.
  • Social determinants of health and programs which improve these for populations who experience inequities in access such as people experiencing long-term homelessness, mental health issues, substance use and culturally diverse groups.
  • Harm reduction and prevention programs, integrated social and health service delivery to highly vulnerable populations.
  • Women and substance use, young people and Illicit drug use
  • Loneliness and social connectedness for those living with chronic illness, and health and community professionals who support people vulnerable to loneliness.
