SERVICE & LEADERSHIP SUMMARy

Dr Zeraati has demonstrated emerging leadership in both academic research and biotechnology commercialisation. In addition to leading interdisciplinary research projects, he has been actively involved in translating scientific discoveries toward therapeutic and commercial applications.

He played a leading role in the commercialisation strategy surrounding the i-Motif-specific antibody, iMab, which has become an internationally used research reagent. Building on this translational focus, he has contributed to the development of novel nucleic acid-targeting therapeutic technologies and commercial pathways for antibody- and mRNA-based therapeutics.

His leadership activities include coordinating collaborative research programs, mentoring junior researchers, and contributing to translational initiatives that bridge academia and industry.
