LEARNING & TEACHING SUMMARy

I have broad teaching experience across both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Economics, spanning introductory subjects through to advanced coursework. At the undergraduate level, I have taught first-year students the core principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, focusing on building strong analytical foundations and supporting students’ transition into university-level study. At higher levels, including honours and postgraduate programs, I have delivered more advanced and specialised material, fostering students’ critical thinking, quantitative skills, and ability to engage with current research and policy debates.

My teaching approach emphasises clarity, relevance, and active engagement. I integrate real-world examples, empirical evidence, and contemporary economic issues to help students connect theory with practice. I also prioritise inclusive and supportive learning environments that encourage participation, curiosity, and independent inquiry. Across all levels, I aim to equip students with the conceptual understanding and analytical tools needed for success in further study, professional careers, and research.
