RESEARCH INTERESTs
Research interests broadly involve improving the health of the community. This includes prevention of health problems, better design of health care, patients as partners in their own care, with a particular emphasis on issues related to the musculoskeletal system. I have conducted many studies on specific disorders, such as low back pain, neck pain including whiplash associated disorders and headache, knee and ankle injuries. I have studied treatment efficacy, such as neck manipulation, and differential diagnosis, such as for ankle injuries.
