LEARNING & TEACHING SUMMARy
Ian Marschner has taught statistics at all levels from first year to Masters and has supervised PhD students on a range of biostatistical research topics. He has taught foundational units in statistical inference and probability theory as well as methods units in areas such as regression models, controlled trials and generalised linear models. He is author of a book which is a graduate level text for biostatistics students titled Inference Principles for Biostatisticians. As a member of the Biostatistics Collaboration of Australia (BCA), a multi-university consortium, he was involved in the development and teaching of a Masters of Biostatistics.
