Research projects & supervision summary
We have PhD and Master's opportunities for energetic and creative research students:
1. Mechanisms of coronary atherosclerosis in patients with no standard modifiable risk factors;
2. New blood biomarkers to detect early atherosclerosis and predict risk of heart attack;
3. Novel drug targets that tackle inflammation and oxidative stress in the heart and blood vessel;
4. Integrating advanced cardiovascular imaging, molecular markers and clinical data to predict risk;
5. Clinical trials: testing new therapies, and digital applications in coronary artery disease and peripheral arterial disease.
