RESEARCH INTERESTs

Research interests are based on veterinary microbiology andinfectious disease in the equineand production animals.

Current research activities include; equine microbiomeanalysis, antimicrobial resistomes of horses, investigating causes of abortion and placentitis in mares and epidemiology, management and diagnosis of Rhodococcus equi pneumonia. Disease biomarkers and the impact of climate change on animal and human disease risk.
