Associate ProfessorFereshteh Pourkazemi

Associate Professor Fereshteh Pourkazemi provides senior academic leadership and service through key governance, research, and engagement roles within the University of Sydney and the broader professional community. She is the Convener of the Sydney Pain Consortium, leading interdisciplinary collaboration across faculties, clinicians, researchers, and external partners to advance pain research, education, and translation. Her governance contributions include elected membership of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Academic Board and service on University-level committees focused on academic quality and standards. She also provides national and international leadership through senior roles in professional and research networks, including chairing international initiatives in musculoskeletal and ankle research.
