Emily has supervised and co-supervised 12 undergraduate and postgraduate research students across a range of veterinary parasitology and infectious disease topics. Projects supervised include:

  • Adina Van Rysewyk (AVBS Honours 2026) - Oh Deer! Do wild deer move anthelmintic-resistant parasites across shared pastures?
  • Samantha MacFarlane (DVM3 Research and Enquiry 2026) – Comparative evaluation of two molecular diagnostic platforms for detection of enteric pathogens in cats and dogs in Sydney
  • Maria Rudic (DVM3 Research and Enquiry 2026) – Cross-species comparison of the gastrointestinal nemabiome of sheep and wild deer in Gunning, New South Wales
  • Charlotte Gorman (DVM3 Research and Enquiry 2026) - Establishing baseline molecular profiles of benzimidazole and levamisole resistance in livestock gastrointestinal nematodes across University of Sydney farms
