DrEhsan Mihankhah

I am a senior researcher in Field Robotics and Sensing Technologies at Rio Tinto Sydney Innovation Hub (RTSIH), where I lead research and development in robotics, perception, and automation for challenging field environments. 
My background is control systems, robotics, and mechatronics. I have received a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2018.
All my academic and professional life, I have been dealing with robotics and industrial automation; more hands on engineering work at earlier years, then transitions to management and commercialisation of inventions and patents.
My current R&D work is around autonomous robotics, machine perception, sensing, and mining automation, with a particular focus on developing robotic systems for real-world industrial applications.
