RESEARCH INTERESTs

Dean's primary research focus is the foundations of quantum gravity research. However, he also has strong interests in musicology, econophysics, climate science, neuroscience, psychology, transhumanism, computing and philosophy of religion. He plays the piano as often as he can (and the drums as often as he is allowed).

Dean's research aligns with the Faculty of Science Research Strengths - Understanding the Universe, Fundamental Laws of Nature, Complex Systems, Historical and philosophical perspectives, , Decision-Making for a Sustainable Future, Quantum Frontiers.
